Monet inspires both children and adults with traditional and original
songs brimming with enthusiasm for life and friendship. Her style
reflects an extensive performance career: classical, folk, rock, and
Latin ensembles, from university halls in Spain to the Troubador in Los
Angeles, and shared billing with Norton Buffalo, Ella Jenkins, James
Cotton, Michael Franti, and many others. A native Californian and
a multi-credentialed teacher, she first studied classical guitar as a child in Argentina, and has lived, studied and performed in Argentina, Spain, and Mexico. A best-selling artist with Music for Little People for twenty years, Monet is now with the independent label Circle Sound Productions. Daughter Genevieve, an Arcata Arts Institute graduate, is the graphic artist of the cover and inserts to Tingaleyo and My Best Friend, and son Matt, a feature film director/editor, is the technical consultant. More kid-pleasing/adult-friendly albums are in the works!

singer-musician, along with fellow artist/engineer/ husband Rick St. Charles,
have received another national Parents’ Choice Foundation award for their newest CD Tingaleyo. This
award-winning team has produced five other albums for children. Each
features Monet’s warm vocals, lush harmonies, rhythmic guitars and
dancing percussion, including the classic best-seller Circle Time, songs and rhymes for the very young.
